Title – must be concise and informative. Spanish and English.

Abstract – a concise and factual abstract in Spanish and English is required for all article types except Editorials and Letters to the Editor.

All original contributions require a structured abstract of up to 250 words, wich clearly states the following (use this subheadings). Objective(s)/ DesignParticipants/ Interventions/ Measurements and Main Results/ Conclusions

Abstract of Critical review of articles and Clinical cases report in no more than 150 words.

Keywords – provide a maximum of 5 keywords in Spanish and English, avoiding general and plural terms and multiple concepts (avoid, for example, 'and', 'of'). Be sparing with abbreviations: only abbreviations firmly established in the field may be eligible. These keywords will be used for indexing purposes.

References – should be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text. Identify references in the text, tables and figures in Arabic numerals in parentheses before the punctuation marks. This number becomes the unique identifier of that source and is re-used each time that particular reference is cited in the text.

When multiple references are cited at the same place in the text, the preferred method is to list each reference number separately with a comma (with spaces) or a dash (without spaces) between each reference (Example (1, 3, 5) or (1-5) or (2-5, 9, 13))

Journal titles must be abbreviated according to the style used by the National Library of Medicine. References must be formatted in the Vancouver Citation Style.
