Therapeutic use of ozonated blood administration in patients with COVID-19 pneumonia

Abstract

The use of ozone therapy cause controversy. Until a few years ago it was considered a pseudoscience, however today despite being a great unknown, its therapeutic actions are very remarkable. At the end of the day it works similar to a hyperbaric chamber since what is administered is oxygen, for example intravenously, which causes a very beneficial response in the body. In the COVID-19 Pandemic there is still no curative treatment, however ozone therapy seems to be very beneficial, the first articles have been published and the results are encouraging. We believe that given the benefit of this therapy we must deepen our knowledge to be able to benefit from the benefits it provides. Here we make a review of its beneficial effects with scientific justification.
