Utilidad terapéutica de la administración de sangre ozonizada en pacientes con neumonía por COVID-19

Resumen

El uso de la ozonoterapia crea controversia. Hasta hace unos años fue considerada una pseudociencia, sin embargo a día de hoy pese a ser una gran desconocida sus acciones terapéuticas son muy remarcables. Al fin y al cabo funciona similar a una cámara hiperbárica pues lo que se administra es oxígeno por ejemplo de manera endovenosa lo que causa en el organismo una respuesta muy beneficiosa. En la Pandemia por COVID-19 aún no hay tratamiento curativo, sin embargo la terapia con ozono parece ser muy beneficiosa, los primeros artículos han sido publicados y los resultados son esperanzadores. Creemos que dado el beneficio de esta terapia debemos profundizar más en su conocimiento para poder servirnos de los beneplácitos que proprociona. Aquí hacemos una revisión de sus efectos beneficiosos con justificación científica.
