Abstract

Burned patients suffer significant physical aggression generating intense pain that requires specific and multidisciplinary training for proper treatment. Despite the advances in the study of analgesic treatments, burned patients still remain under-treated in a high percentage. It is necessary to know the different therapeutic options that we have, as well as the pathophysiology of pain in burned patients to be able to properly treat them.
