Nefopam: a partner in postopertive pain management?

Nefopam seems to play a role in multimodal analgesia. It is attributed a saving effect in the consumption of postoperative opiates. It also reduces the incidence of nausea, drowsiness and chills, which improves the patient's comfort during the first phase of recovery.
