Systematic reviews try to answer a specific question, employ a clearly specified strategy of searching and a rigurous and explicit inclusion criteria to include the primary studies, which makes them highly reproducible. In addition, when possible due to the characteristics of the primary studies, they are completed with a quantitative synthesis that is called meta-analysis.
