Abstract

The most common breast surgery is breast oncology surgery. Surgical treatment of breast cancer has changed significantly in recent years. Regional anaesthetic techniques are diverse and have a significant reduction of post-operative pain, which is important in surgical patient care. Until now, no technique is considered to be of choice. The technique should be considered according the type of surgical intervention and the type of patient. Multimodal analgesia is recommended for pain management in cancer patients undergoing surgery.
