Abstract

Neonatal anaesthesia has a physiological characteristics and a difficulty of monitoring. It´s a challenge. In addition, those who require major surgery may associate pathologies that increase the morbidity of the surgical procedure. The use of non-invasive monitoring is relevant in this type of patient. We present the case of a polymalformed neonate undergoing general anesthesia for cystoscopy, correction of myelomeningocele and colostomy.
