Thanks to advances in medicine, we are increasingly faced with more innovative surgeries, which pose a challenge in all aspects. Given this situation, we present a clinical case of an uncommon yet complex surgery, such as hemipelvectomy. Our objective is to provide a global and critical vision of the management of these patients, both intraoperatively and postoperatively, exposing our clinical case and assessing whether the management was correct or not after having reviewed the available bibliography in reference to it.
