Abstract

The parameters that report on the quality of a multiple linear regression model and that are usually provided by the statistical programs with which they are carried out are reviewed. Emphasis is placed on the goodness of fit, the predictive capacity and the statistical significance of the model.

Manuel Molina, Gastroenterology Service Hospital Infantil Universitario La Paz, Madrid.

Specialist in Pediatrics and its Specific areas since 1991. I currently work in the Gastroenterology Service of the La Paz University Children's Hospital, in Madrid.
In addition, I belong to the Evidence-Based Pediatrics Working Group, a group shared between the Spanish Association of Pediatrics and the Spanish Association of Primary Care Pediatrics.
