Abstract

The number of procedures performed in interventional radiology rooms is constantly increasing, which means that in many hospitals several anesthesiologists have been assigned daily to sedate or anesthetize these patients. We find ourselves under the framework of anesthesia outside the surgical area, where it will not be possible to immediately count on the entire arsenal of resources available there, nor with the help of other colleagues; For this reason, these rooms must be equipped with everything necessary to deal with any contingencies that may arise, with ventilation and difficult intubation leading them.
