Abstract

The erector of the spine plane block (ESP)  is a safe regional anesthesia technique with favorable results in the management of acute postoperative pain.  There are numerous publications in adult patients, however they are very scarce in the pediatric population. We present the case report of a 3-year-2-month-old patient who underwent open pyeloplasty, the patient did not present adverse effects and maintained adequate hemodynamic stability and pain control.
