The Revista Electrónica AnestesiaR (ReAR), the AnestesiaR.org blog and the entire anesthesia educational platform subscribe to the ethical principles of scientific publication and dissemination following the COPE guidelines
Plagiarism
Misappropriating another person’s intellectual property constitutes plagiarism. This includes copying sentences or paragraphs verbatim (or almost verbatim) from someone else’s work, even if the original work is cited in the references.
The Revista Electrónica AnestesiaR (ReAR) uses an anti-plagiarism software to confirm the originality of content prior to publication.

Editor
ReAR Editor is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published
ReAR editor will accept and evaluate manuscripts for their intellectual content regardless of race, gender, nationality, ethics origin, political philosophy, religious belief or sexual orientation of the authors
Editors must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than stakeholders
Unpublished manuscripts or materials must not be used in an editors own research.
Editors will be guided by COPE flowcharts in cases of suspected misconduct (including plagiarism) or disputed authorship.
In the event that an article must be corrected or retracted, the Revista Electrónica AnestesiaR (ReAR) will use the COPE retraction guidelines. At all times the editors will be ready to publish corrections, clarifications, retractions and apologies when necessary.
Authors
Authors attest that paper is their own, original and unpublished work
Authors guarantee that the manuscript has not been copied or plagiarized (in whole or in part); a paper should contain sufficient details and references to permit others to replicate the work; any used information resources (phrases, data, images…) must be appropriately cited or quoted.
Authorship should be limited to those who have made a significant contribution to the manuscript content.
Affiliation (all authors/co-authors) and corresponding address (main author) must be clearly stated.
When authors discover a significant error or inaccuracy in their own published work, it is the authors' obligation to promptly notify the Publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper.
Reviewers
All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents
Privileged information/ideas obtained by reviewers through peer review process must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage
Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate, review should be conducted objectively
All suggestions and comments should be followed by supporting arguments
Reviwers will be guided by COPE flowcharts in cases of suspected misconduct (including plagiarism) or disputed authorship.
Journal
The Revista Electrónica AnestesiaR is openly available to all readers under the open source operating system OJS
The publication of journal articles follow a peer review process. Both reviewers and authors will be anonymous in the editing process

Any link to the full text of the articles in the AnestesiaR Electronic Journal must lead to the official URL of the AnestesiaR Electronic Journal.
Human and Animal rights, and Informed Consent
Studies on patients or volunteers will not be considered for publication unless the study was approved by the authors’ Institutional Review Board (IRB) or the Research Ethics Board (REB) and carried out in accordance with The Code of Ethics of the World Medical Association (Declaration of Helsinki). We require written consent, written consents must be retained by the author but copies should not be provided to the journal. Only if specifically requested by the journal in exceptional circumstances (for example if a legal issue arises) the author must provide copies of the consents or evidence that such consents have been obtained.
In all manuscripts reporting the results of human studies, a statement must appear in the Materials and Methods section indicating that approval was obtained from the REB and that all human subjects signed written informed consent. Cite in the text the full (hospital) name of the REB.
Do not use patients´ names, initials, or hospital numbers, especially in illustrative material.
Animal experimental procedures should be as humane as possible and should comply with the ARRIVE guidelines and should be carried out in accordance with the EU Directive 2010/63/EU on the protection of animals used for scientific purposes, or the U.S. Public Health Service Policy on Humane Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and, as applicable, the Animal Welfare Act.

About the Board of Directors and the Editorial Board of the Journal
The governing bodies of the magazine are people of recognized prestige, passionate about their work without receiving any financial remuneration for their dedication to this magazine
About author and publication fees
Authors are advised that in no case will any fee or financial contribution be required for the publication of any manuscript in the Electronic Journal of AnestesiaR (Rear), and no payment will be made for publication. This does not exempt the payment of possible services such as the translation into other languages that the author of the manuscript wants to carry out through the journal without being obliged to do so in any way.
About copyright
The Copyright and its license information are clearly described and informed to the author prior to submitting his article. Copyright applies to all types of articles published in the magazine.
About conflicts of interest
The Editorial Board of the Electronic Journal of AnestesiaR (Rear) declares that it has no conflict of interest and that its work is carried out freely and independently. Likewise, authors are required to declare if they have a conflict of interest prior to submitting any manuscript. All authors must disclose any financial and personal relationships with other people or organization that could inappropriately influence their work.
Sources of income
The Association Anesthesia Resuscitation Spain is a non-profit organization. The costs generated by the editorial process itself (servers, network storage, computer maintenance and technical secretariat) are fed by the income derived from the inclusion of selected advertising on its web platforms.
Advertising: The advertisements that AnestesiaR includes on its platforms will always be related to the contents of AnestesiaR. The advertising policy is available through the email secretaria.técnica@anestesiar.org. Decisions regarding the acceptance of advertisements and whether they are related to the content or behavior of readers (online) are made by the editorial board of AnestesiaR
