Abstract

Antireflux surgery include several techniques, with the most common being laparoscopic Nissen fundoplication. Patients undergoing surgery are at higher risk of aspiration during anesthesia induction, so a rapid sequence induction is recommended to minimize it. In our hospital, a multimodal anesthesia regimen is used for pain management, combined with abdominal wall blocks or infiltration of laparoscopy ports with local anesthetic.
