Abstract

Endoscopic transsphenoidal surgery has become the most popular surgical treatment for pituitary adenomas. Anesthetic concerns for patients who undergo transsphenoidal surgery depend on the specific endocrine disruption of the patient. In this text we resume the main interest points along the surgical procedure and the complications that may occur in  this surgery.
