Utilización de Sulfato de Magnesio en Analgesia y anestesia obstétrica

Resumen

A los que nos dedicamos habitualmente a la práctica clínica de la analgesia-anestesia obstétrica y utilizamos el SO4Mg2+ intravenoso se nos plantea en esta ocasión su uso por la vía neuroaxial [Subaracnoidea (SA) y/o Epidural (Ep)].

Los adjuvantes de los Anestésicos Locales (AL) han sido utilizados previamente en un intento de prolongar la analgesia después de realizar el bloqueo nervioso. Entre ellos podemos considerar los los agonistas α-2 adrenergicos, los corticosteroides, y la ketamina.
