Resumen

Revisión en la base de datos Pubmed sobre el manejo de la hemorragia masiva y la transfusión masiva resumiendo la mayoría de conceptos empleados en el documento HEMOMAS. Lo fundamental es la estandarización de protocolos de hemorragia masiva para agilizar y llevar a cabo el tratamiento más adecuado en el menor tiempo posible.

Current recommendations in massive hemorrhage management. HEMOMAS file. What´s new?

PubMed data review concerning massive hemorrhage management and massive blood transfusion summarizing most of the definitions used in HEMOMAS file. The imperative is the standardisation of massive hemorrhage protocols in order to streamline and handle the best treatment in no time.
