Resumen

La topicalización con anestésicos locales (AL) resulta imprescindible en la preparación del paciente para la intubación traqueal con fibrobroncoscopio (FBC) en el paciente despierto. Frecuentemente se realiza administrando AL a través del canal de trabajo del FBC de forma selectiva bajo visión directa, denominándose spray-as-you-go.
